What we collect
When you place a bid we collect your legal name, email address, phone number, bid amount, and chosen collection method. If you win and choose shipping, we additionally collect a shipping address.
How we use it
Contact details are used solely to (a) confirm your bid, (b) notify you if you are outbid or win, and (c) allow the seller to coordinate payment and delivery. We do not sell your information.
Who can see your bid
Bid amounts, collection method, and timestamps are shown publicly in the bid history on each lot. Your name, email, phone, and address are never displayed publicly — they are visible only to the seller after the auction closes.
Real estate assistance
If you opt in for real estate assistance when placing a bid, we share your name, email address, and phone number with the seller so they may contact you with relevant opportunities. This sharing only happens with your explicit consent via the opt-in checkbox. The seller is responsible for handling your data in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
Storage & security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level security policies restricting access. Transport is encrypted via HTTPS.
Retention
Bid records are retained for accounting and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your personal contact data by emailing us, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email the seller listed on the relevant lot to make a request.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep the site functioning (e.g. session and auth). No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Contact
Privacy questions can be directed to the seller listed on the relevant lot.
